LOGO DESIGN | VISUAL IDENTITY
Neema Village is a rescue center in Arusha, Tanzania, that cares for abandoned and orphaned babies. They also help Tanzanian women start their own business and become more independent. Pretty heroic stuff.
Dorris, co-founder of Neema Village, was given a set of large letters to put up on her wall. We went ahead and used these letters as a reference for the wordmark.
The icon’s pretty direct in its concept. The heart shows where Arusha is. I always think it looks a little bit like a face.
